My company made us a sheva brachot today at the office, which was very sweet of them. The tables were pretty and confetti-fied, and my boss compared guerrilla marketing tactics to newlywed life (hey, it works) and a coworker spoke about mezuzot and compromise. I am so often reminded how lucky I am in my job – because I have a good job in general, and especially since it’s a good job in Israel. And everyone is so damn nice (I actually get nostalgic when I read Dilbert cartoons).
Ronen’s brand new job sent us a huge bouquet of flowers which is exciting because, although I have gotten flowers from lovers and brothers, I never really am at the recipient end of an enormous fancy bouquet from a fancy flower shop.
Ronen loves them too. Aww.
