I can proudly say that for the first time since moving here, and for the first time ever since high school: I have a permanent residence.

My bills can come to my address;
My friends can know where to find me;
I can invest in decent furniture/appliances;
I can have as many guests as I want without asking permission;
I have a place I can call ‘home’ without feeling awkward.
