I am not at Misrad Klita (Absorption office) right now.
Everyone with a government paycheck is on strike.
Why?
Because now they have to bank (and get screwed) like the rest of us.
SELFISH!
I get it’s a socialist country, but it doesn’t seem very social that we, the people, should get screwed both ways.

That’s not what the strke is about.
the strike is in order to put pressure on the various govt offices to solve the problems of thousands of municipal employees throughout the country, who have not received their salaries for OVER & MONTHS.
I think they deserve our solidarity
It’s a frustrating catch-22. Sometimes labor unions make sense and sometimes they don’t.
The solution? I’m not sure, but a lot of the time it just doesn’t seem like it’s going well.
