On the sixth day…

And on the sixth day, man… And on the seventh, they rested (sort of).

Our baby girl was born in our home this past Friday, just in time for Shabbat.

The labor took less than a third the time it took with Koala, and she beats her brother by 150 grams at 2.85 kilos – and way more hair (if that was possible). And baby girl shares her Jewish birthday with Zayde and cousin.

And so far, her utter chillness is making it really easy to write all this down…

Awww congratulations! I came across your blog 2 years ago when I was researching home birth options in Israel and found your info really helpful (and yes I had a home birth).

Been checking in on your blog ever since and now I’m expecting baby number 2 anytime over the next few weeks I’m thrilled to read your news (but also a little jealous that you’ve got it over with all ready!!) Many congratulations from this reader!!

Thank you Hannah! I’m excited to hear you had a home birth back then. Are you doing it again? I’m going to post my experience soon.

      Bsha’a tova! And soon!

Oh yes, will be doing it at home again, this time hopefully with a birth pool. Living in the UK now so the whole pregnancy experience has been so different from Israel…having just read your post on registering a home birth baby I can say some things are better over here for sure!!

Looking forward to reading your birth story!!
